Nuts are a great food -- one of the best snacks you can possibly have.  The only down side is they can be loaded with calories.

Almonds are among the best and healthiest.

Stay away from peanuts.

People with glucose issues also tend to get more yeast infections and that's not good for your immunity and digestion.  Peanuts seem to feed yeast, as the above link explains.

The book "The Blood Sugar Solution" has a lot of food ideas of meeting special nutritional needs for people with sugar issues.

Be well

what is good for a diabetic person to eat?

to much to list, there is a class of food that is not good for a diabetic... carbohydrates (carbs)  your body turns carbs to BG, period. that is what your body does with carbs.  So nuts are low carb and they have good fat so enjoy (just dont eat the whole bag at one sitting)
