Prandin and gastric distress
I have been on Metformin 500mg, 2 in am 2 in pm with meals. I was recently put on prandin 2mg with meals. Since on prandin I have experienced increased problems with gastric reflux and flatulance. Does prandin have this effect, has anyone else had these problems with this med? Also a great deal of joint pain.
I don't have direct experience with Prandin [Repaglinide] but have talked with several patients that experienced chest and joint pains while using it. You can Google Prandin side effects for a broader viewpoint. What I do suggest is that you call your doctor's office and let him/her know your discomforts with Prandin.
