Hello!
I wanted to share somehting I have learned about how my body reacts to certain foods.
I have a hard time keeping my numbers in a good range when I eat carbs like pasta, potatoes or breads.
I can eat some chocolate and it will not affect me as the other carbs do.

What I have been doing is using a high quality protein shake or two per day and staying away from breads & pasta.

I am down from 2000mg of metformin to just 500mg per day.  I have only lost and kept off maybe 40 lbs but I do notice when my weight goes up, then so does my sugar numbers.

Just always remember, everyone's body has their own trigger and responds to different nutrients differently.  Sometimes it is a try and see kind of thing.

Good luck and keep in touch with how you are doing!

love & blessings...  ~V
