how can i earn trust?

how can i earn trust back from a guy i love and know i wanna be with? i lied to him on 2 occasions and i am feeling so horrible about the lies that i made and wish i could take it back. weve seen eachother about 4 times since the last lie and have been dating for 5 months. I saw him last night because i told him im ready and have put the past in the past.... and he says this morning, "Sad again :( I miss u... I truly hope I can learn to trust u one day Lucy. I hope u understand why I feel the way I do. I will try my
best to not punish my brain. Make good decisions baby and keep doing
what u are doing. U are on the right path. Do not lose focus
sweetheart... miss u and wub u.

I only want him and I dont know what it will take to trust me. Im very sad.

Hi.....it's very difficult to earn the trust again of someone we have hurt. Once is easier to forgive than twice. One of life's big lessons.  The best you can do is to take his advice, and let him know you understand.  Be patient with him and give him some space. Hopefully, he will learn to trust you again, if not you have to move on while taking away something positive from this. You'll not make the same mistake the next time, and this is how we learn and grow and become better individuals.  Life is a great teacher.  I wish you all the best.

I think mammo has given you wise advice here.  

It is sad when our own mistakes ruin something we want--------  such regret.  But that is what helps us become so much wiser for the future.

And I will say that what he sent you sounds like he hasn't closed the door.  Work on this and conquer it and after some time, perhaps there is still hope.

i believe you still have a chance with him. Tell yourself you are goin to be honest to him from now on. Keep showing him that you care for him and love him. And yes patience is very important here because these things take time to forget and put in the past. When  he notices that you are serious to start over again he might just come to you again.
