I have a 2 yr old Bouvier, and when he was younger he ate everything, shoes, underwear, socks, tissues out of the garbage, wood, furniture, you name it. One day, he started to drool puddles of water. We took him to the vet and he told us he might have a seizure disorder that's very rare, instead of shaking and convulsing, he drools instead. Well $1,200 dollars later, they gave him something to induce vomiting, x-rayed his stomach, he threw up, and was fine. Never had another epidsode again. So just make sure that everything that can be chewed is kept out of her reach and give it a couple of days to see if why she is drooling is from what she ate. Also, it could be from heat and humidity. Good Luck.
Off topic - what are the stars for. I don't have any WAH WAH I'm going to have a pity party and stand in the corner eating ice cream = )
Yes, I AM just kidding.
Sometimes when they get excited they do this more.Is there anything that she might have gotten ito that may be making her do this?Has she just started doing this today. My Boxer only does this after she has been drinking or she has gotten into someting and it makes her mouth get all wet.If your baby isnt any better by tomorrow and this has just started today then i would give your vet a call and tell them what is going on and see what they think you should do.Keep us posted and Take care
Boxers tend to drool a lot - partly to do with the shape of their "lips". She might also be teething. Nerves could play a part too. Our Akita drools all over the place when she's anxious (and even when she isn't). Drool is part of "dog life", just like hair shedding = )
She is fine but if you're really worried, take her to a vet.
Some boxers just drool a lot, naturally. There is nothing wrong with her. Buy a bunch of cheap washcloths to have around the house to to use for wiping her face. Use them and then throw them in the laundry. If it bothers you, then this might not be the dog for you. Sorry.
