Hi my lil Gracie is a Pom/Chi mix and about 5 yrs old , I just noticed 2 lumps on her neck around where the lumps would be , ....I am really freaking out , what do you think it could be??

I took Gracie to the vet today and she thinks it could be an infection of some kind, she gave her a shot of cortisone and put her on Clavamox to see if the swelling goes down, if not she may have to cut it open..  ; (  I am praying that it will just go away ....Please keep my Lil Gracie in your prayers....I am very worried about her...Thanks and I 'll keep posting!

Sounds like swollen throat glands... it could be an infection.Being they are on both sides does not sound like cancer to me.The glands either side of the neck always seem to swell when infection is present the same with us as well.

If that is the case the vet will put her on a course of antibiotics.Don't worry Debs I am pretty sure she will be ok.Gracie can sense your anxiety and will  also be worried so tell her she will be fine.

Let us know what the Vet says please.

on both sides ...they feel kinda pea/marble size and not real hard.

Are they together or on each side of the neck ???? or front or back of the neck area.?
try to explain as clearly as you can, also are they pea or,marble size and shape or flatter like a coin.

I am taking her to the vet in the morning,,, I am just freaking out over the lumps in her neck ...she is really tiny only 7 lbs.....here not that big I just don't think I have ever noticed them before...any feed back from anyone on what they think it could be!

I'm not exactly certain what you mean "2 lumps around where the lumps would be"
