my dog wont eat nor drink water what can i do

dogs can go without food for a while, but they need water regulary, about a litre a day for a medium dog.... if heshe hasnt drunk in the past 24 hours take him/her to the vet immediatly.

does the dog have a fever?
swollen glands
how's the mouth
any foul smell
is the activity level normal?
maybe there's a need for some tests!
maybe swallowed some junk around the house (you know, sometimes a vet can palpate to diagnose that)
now i'm reading this and i think of one thing, actually 2 things a sentence with the combination of a four letter word. and even better 1 three letter nickname VET.

You need to get him to the Vet ASAP....This could be caused by any number of things; two many to list on a public forum...  Only a Vet will be able to tell you what it is & what to do.......This could be serious......You need to make the call, NOW!    Karla
