No one can make this decision for you. It is so very hard. I had to make that decision back in December. You need to follow your heart. YOU know your pooch. YOU know the quality of life. I know that you will make the right decision. God bless and give you strength and guide you to that decision.
I've worked in a vet hospital for most of my life (Ironically I came here to ask a question about my dog's toe haha) but I can tell you from experience that nobody can tell you when it is time to put your dog down. This is a very tough decision, and you know your dog better than anyone. If you think that life is getting too tough for her, and see a serious decline in everything ranging from eating to going to the bathroom, then it might be the right time. Because her mother lived 3 years longer does not mean that is Daisy's destiny as well. I hope that you do not feel bad about considering euthanizing her, it perhaps is for the best. My heart goes out to you and your family in whichever decision you decide to make. Sorry I couldn't help you further.
