Silver Lab hair loss

My silver lab other wise registered as a chocolate is lossing her hair. On her chest and on her mid section. It is more noticeable on her chest where it is a spot about 4 inches in diameter. On her mid section you can see thining spots. Last year this time she was doing the same thing for about a month. What would it might be and any suggestions?
Thanks

I do not have an answer. It could be allergies.  However it could be a sign of another condition, possible cushings?  I would take your dog to the vet to run some tests.  Best of luck.
