Help? St. Bernard.

My 30 week, [7 month on Tuesday] St. Bernard, Precious has stopped eating the usual amount we feed her. She's only eating about a quarter of the amount and she's stopped drinking her usual amount of water. She's also turned down  treats that we've tried to feed her [which are like candy to her]. She has an appointment on Tuesday but that's still 4 days away so does anyone have tips on how to keep her nourished and hydrated until then. Shes up to date on her shots and hasn't vomited or has shown signs of diarrhea, so if anyone has an idea on what it might be or any tips please let me know. She's our life and we just want her to be okay, at least until the doctor can see her.

Unfortunately we can't on Monday but its first thing Tuesday morning. She had her temperature taken "rectally" at her last check up in June, she wasn't too fond of it. We had another dog that had to be put to sleep the day before but that was for a uterus infection [according to the ER doctors] so I doubt that could've affected her. She usually stays outside but will go inside during the high heat hours because were in Arizona but for the moment she's staying inside all the time, only to go potty will she go outdoors. She started eating a bit more late last night and earlier today. She was also playful and wasn't letting us sleep. So she seems to be doing better but I still want to have her drink Pedialite until then just to be on the safe side. Will keep you updated if you'd like(: Thank You.

Can't get her in on Monday?  Thus could be any number of things.  Do you know how to take a rectal temp?  you need a "rectal" thermometer and some Vasaline.  A dog's normal temp is usually around 101-102.  103 or above can be cause for concern.
Any chance she has gotten into anything in the house or yard?
You might try feeding some boiled chicken and rice in small amounts a few times a day.  Dogs can go without eating for a couple of days but they still need fluids.  You could try some Pedialite.  If you have a syringe ( no needle) you can use that or a bulb syringe ( they sell at the drug stores) to put some fluids in the corner/ back side of her lips if she isn't drinking.
Is it hot where you are?  It could just be the heat.  Many animals don't eat well when it is hot.
See if a pet store near you sells canned, green tripe.  This jA nourishing and most dogs love it.  Can't recall now but I want to say Evo makes one.
Of course. Should the dog get worse, you should consider the ER vet.
Good luck
