Went to the vet again today..... Royal canine not avaible... He said I should home cook for him... Told him odis was having a lot of GI rumblings again.. He is already on 70% Rice and Chicken he said I should balnce RC with vegatables.. One green one yellow and one something els... He is going to order vitamins for me... He said like we eat and not to worry ablout calsium and asked if I have calsium shortage... I is an adult dog and should not warry about it. He's blood tests show low Phos and he's urine is not consetated... I know nothing about nutriesan... Any ideas on books I can buy to help me... South africa does not carry any books like these... I can buy on amazone.. And what to veg to add to him dieet that does not cause more gas just untill I can order an book... Or something to help me... Here are no nuturienist in SA. Phoned the one in cape town turns out they sall food not advice.

I found this website look nice but vet does not agree on centrum. Also cutting out the fat% to min. Also here is nice website for calculating foods wil try it also on weekend. http://nutritiondata.self.com/ balance it gives you min and max values of vitamins allowed and vet just gave me tabs with cal, phos, vit A,D,E so I wil try to balnce it all at the weekend. Thank you Margot and Karla. I know I have a lot of questions but odis is my first dog and we always hade dogs in the house growing up but all of them where healty happy dogs... I also googled zuchinni. In south africa its  know as baby marrows. They harvest the fruit before they outgrown I don't supose this influences nution. Didn't know this I just asked the people at the fruit and veg store for zuchinni they looked at me like I was crazy... Wil get some tommorow. Also do you know what pumkins are used to make canned pumkin I saw about 3 large pumkins and pot pumpkins also there are  pumkin frozen in bags does not state which it is. Thank you for advice... You can also do a Google search for home cooked balanced duets for dogs or something like that.
No zucchini?  Plant some. :-)

Also no zuchinni in sa. Or canned pumkin... Home cooking bcause vet said it could be preservativs in the food...
