Dog suddenly died today

Yesterday morning we woke up and my rescue dog Oscar was being sick white foam over the floor - he has been sick before so we monitored it for an hour in which he got worse and was being sick every 15 minutes. We rushed him to the vet which at this point he was a little out of it but could walk still. The vet told us to give him this medicine and let him rest. We come home again and we notice he isn't moving and all we can see if blood pouring from his back passage, we instantly rushed him back to the vet and by this point he was not very respondent and could not walk at all.

The vet told us that they needed to do tests so rushed him out the back, we were told he was having tests and they would update us. The next morning we woke up to the news that our beloved beautiful boy had passed away in the morning.

They told us it was something to do with toxins in his body and also liver failure. He showed no signs of any illness prior to the morning of him being sick, the only thing he was doing was drinking his water a little more than normal but not exessively.

He had a skin condition also so was on steroids for this medicated to control the itching.

We are left with a massive void without him here and I am completely heartbroken.

Any advice or anyone know why this happened to him so quickly? :(
