Ginger is most correct. Waiting another 5 days could be seriously harmful to Allie. Friends, family and even neighbors are often willing to help by paying the exam fee and that is really the key right now. Without a veterinarian's opinion, it is impossible to say what might help her or what is wrong.
You can also visit sites like carecredit.com and apply for personal loans to help with issues like this.
Times are very tough, but taking care of our pets is still an important responsibility. Good luck and let us know what the veterinarian says.
I hate to have to say this, but if your little Allie hasn't DRUNK anything in 2 days, and with the possibility she won't even drink anything till Friday.....she could even die in that time, from simple dehydration. A dog can manage without food for longer than we think. But not water, or equivalent liquids. Not drinking for that amount of time would result in dehydration which would be serious.
Basically, she does need to see the vet. She needs your help. The reason for her refusal of food and liquids has to be found, so she can be treated.
Ther could be lots of reasons why she feels so bad she can't bear to eat or drink. But I can't tell you what they are. Only the vet can.
You will have to find a way of getting her there. You may have to ask friends or family to lend you the money to do this, right now. You will have to pay them back Friday when you get your pay. Or if you have a credit card, do it on that, and pay later. ANYTHING.
