Oh, that's good news that it wasn't Parvo, and that he's doing better now. Hopefully it is just a tummy upset. I wonder if he could need some hypo-allergenic food of some kind?
Well, wait on the test reults, then maybe you could discuss this with your vet.

He is almost 18 months and is a shih tzu, he is doing much better. Its not parvo. we are waiting for test results to return. He is now eating and drinking and being very playful, but only minor changes on his feaces. Thank you so much for answering my question. I will keep you updated with results

How old is your pup?   And what kind of dog is he?   This kind of information can be very helpful when asking questions here in the forums.

I agree with ginger...this sounds like a serious situation.   You need to see a veterinarian soon before he loses any reserves to fight off whatever infection he might have.

It sounds like he is sick. Don't delay, take him straight to the vet, just in case this could be an infectious disease, such as Parvo.

If you can possibly do it, take a stool sample with you. It will help the vet to diagnose whatever could be wrong with him.
I do hope your dog is OK. If you get the time, let us know how he's doing.
