couple of things to think about. not all infections of the uterus become pyometra. that usually indicates a long standing infection and many of them actually become "sterile". those do need to be removed surgically.
if this is more recent and she has vaginitis / endometritis, then it may be possible that an intensive long term course of anti-biotics (and perhaps vaginal flush) could cure the infection and save her uterus in case you wish to breed again.
your vet will want to look at her White Cell Count and perhaps ultrasound her belly to decide where you are in this process and which course of action to take - treat or remove. be sure to discuss this with your vet.
Hello and thankyou for answering my query I looked up all the symptoms of pyrometra online and it pretty much looks as if its that, I rang my vet and he is seeing her tomorrow morning and if it is pyro she will be going for emergency surgery soon as, I am just hoping that i is not fatal i love her to pieces.
Ill let you know the outcome as soon as i know
Thanks again

Good morning...your girl is very gorgeous!!
I think she does need to see a veterinarian as soon as you can manage. Do you have a digital thermometer at home? You can take her temperature rectally...normal dogs should have a temp between 100 and 103. If her temp is higher call your veterinarian for an exam asap.
Some intact females can get infections of the uterus (pyometra).
I hope someone in your family or in your neighborhood can help you manage because I think you don't want to wait on this.
Good luck...keep us posted.
