Pug panics at night

My pug panics suddenly when its resting or is in sleep..She seems very frightened and runs in different direction,her breathing becomes very fast,,,this has happened many times,,,,,does anyone know what is happening to her,,Plz

I would make her a vet appt. They can check her out, maybe she has some arthritis. If she's having discomfort then it'll be hard for her to settle down and rest, especially at night when you need her to so you can all get some sleep.

yeah she moves her legs and seems to be in a lot of pain...

It almost sounds like something is waking her up suddenly and causing her distress/anxiety, whether it be a flea bite or joint pain or something else. Does she act like she's in any sort of pain during of afterward?

Sounds like my dogs having dreams.  They bark, growl, run, wage their tails. Sometimes they wake themselves up and you get see they're not where they thought they were.
