Julia.....Thank you for coming back......I'm terribly sorry for your loss....I DO beleive you made the right decision, though...
I know your second guessing yourself and it's normal....It's part of the grief process....NO, she is not mad at you...She loved you with all her heart and knows you were doing what was best for her....That's because you loved her, too...
I'm glad you went with her till the end....Many people do not have the courage....I know it was awful for you, but you will realize in time, that she would not have wanted to live like she was any longer....It was only fair to let her go.....
Thank you for adopting her many years ago...She was blessed to have such a good, caring mom & family.....Please, don't beat yourself up......You will feel better about it before long....
I'll be thinking about you and I wish you Peace with your decision......
Run Free Little Lucy~~~~~You were much Loved~~~~One of the Lucky Ones
Sincerely, Karla
Lucy went to rest on April 9th at 3:12 pm, it hurts so much but you was right it was peaceful, i stayed with her through it all, as hard as it was for me to do this, she layed on her side ,put her tired head in my hand and the Dr injected her in the left lower leg since she did have much feeling in them and she just slipped away without a fight, they say her ashes will be placed in a place in Indianapolis were they spread animal ashes, of course the right or wrong answer runs through my mind, but the thought if she is mad at us does too, Thanks for all your help and you have a blessed day. Julia Smith
I'm so sorry to hear this....If you feel she has NO good days, then it's time to think about letting her go....
If you've never had to do this before, it will be very, very hard....You will find the courage though and be able to give your Pug this last gift.....It's actually quite a peaceful experience....
Please come back here if you need to talk or ask questions....I'm hoping others will stop in and give you suggestions, too...
In the meantime, I'll be thinking about you and your Lucy.......Karla
Lucy dont move much, she will lay in her pee and she just seems to be done, i take her out to the porch and she just lays there, same inside, the dr gave her sterroids and musel relaxers which helped a little but nothing to brag about. She dont have any good days except for she loves to be around us, as for her pug family she gowls at them, exp the male.
You need to talk to your Vet and get this girl some relief of her pain....It sounds as if her quality of life is extremely low...Does she have any good days? Do they out number the bad ones?
Your Vet will help you decide what can be done for her or if it's time to let her go.....Please, get her in ASAP....I wish you luck & peace with your decision.....Karla
