Thanks for the responses we appreciate your help. Strangely enough she stopped just simply stopped. I went and bought a well 2 flea combs and a bottle of flea shampoo and didnt need to use it..... she has been herself since dec 6 evening. I have the shampoo now so I can give her a bath in it as a preventative measure. Thanks again for the suggestions.
Lmao oh it is funny to see. At first I thought she was just looking to play, as she is very playful. Poor girl lol. Well I did try to look for fleas I didnt see any but will buy a flea brush. No scooting lol or as I like to call it sit\walking lol I always wondered why dogs did that. Lol I thought they were itching. Anyway I will get her advantage or frontline forsure. I was I had of known to get a "preventative" before now. Glad I posted here. Thank you guys. I will keep you posted to what it is.
Ok, not funny but I am LOL over here from the visual, those are damn cute puppies anyway.
Agree with Shannon and check for fleas or possibly anal glands. Is she scooting around at all? How long has she been doing this? Good time to give her a good going over. Get a flea comb or brush, try laying her down and start at the tail, back comb the hair, slowly, so you can see down to the skin. Check sides and back. Flip her over and do the other side and the neck and head. Yep, takes a while but see if you see any fleas, flea dirt, irritated skin or maybe something stuck. One of my dogs was doing this once (well no flips) and I found a little bug on her. Good place to start if she has no other symptoms.
Just an initial thought, make sure she has a good flea/tick preventative (advantage/frontline) to rule out anything like that that is making her uncomfortable.
