How do you know her uterus is infected? Are you guessing at that or the doctor told you?
She might be sick from the anesthesia.
But you should take her to the vet right away.
If there is an Emergency Vet Hosp. take her there.
her uterus and ovaries were infected and the vet did the spay. she was fine when she came home at first but now cant keep food down.. maybe from the intubation?vet says no , has been over two weeks..soo am giving tagamet and cleaning up barf.....hope you have a suggestion for me..do you know if dogs can drink ensure?
I would take her back to the vet and get a blood sample taken to check kidney function. It is just possible that the toxins produced by the infected uterus had time to move through the bloodstream (before surgery) and when that happens, it can sometimes affect the nephrons of the kidneys.
