Sometimes when one dog dies, the other dog mourns. This can show itself in health problems. Get her checked out, a physical exam at the vet. Your dog sound like there is something wrong internally, but it might be something you can fix. She might be ok. You don't know till you go see. Don't wait, go soon.
You have obviously been a fabulous dog mommy to have a golden live for 14 years. Great job! Fourteen is really old for any dog, but even more so for the larger breeds like goldens and labs. It sounds like she may be coming to the end of her days. You can help keep her comfortable by having your vet examine her and see what is needed.
"Critter people" are so very special because we give love to these animals knowing all the whie that we will likely outlive them. It takes a very big heart to give love over and over again while risking the heartache of losing them. Sadly, the loss is part of the joy of loving them. For now, try to focus on doing everything you can to keep her as happy and comfy as you can for as long as possible. We're all here for you during this very difficult journey.
Hi, I'm sorry your dog isn't doing too well. And, also, sorry about the loss of your other dog. Have you taken your goldie to the vet? It may be age related or she may have a health problem.
