I can answer for Australia only and yes the private carriers are top class find out who are the best on online! as word soon gets around, its in their interest to give the best care as some of the dogs they carry are worth a fortune , and if they cannot do that all dog owners will not use them..... simple as that.
Call them up talk to some of them to find out who best would suit your needs.ok
thank you for the advice. one is a chow mix (large dog) and another a chihuahua. i don't really want to transport them on a cargo plane and so i was hoping people in this forum might have experience with private carriers like pet airways, dogtravel company, or even pilot and paws.
i want to avoid traumatizing them further. :(
If they are not too big fly them of course, get a good vet to prescibe a safe seditive for them so they will not be stressed or leave it in the hands of peaple who arrange every thing for you. Look into it do your homework! if you can afford it,talk to the airline they will tell you how to go about it. that way is best. Over before you know it,.... home safe and sound in a few hours.Oh google the info as well.
Let us know how you go.
