we currently had to leave the house i was living in my whole life because the house was not "livable" it was literally falling apart and they couldn't fix it anymore. we couldn't find a house in the time we had so we had to move into an apartment that we can afford. but they don't allow big dogs. i have a husky mix and his a good size. i actually had 2 but i found her a home at the last minute. my other dog on the hand i couldn't find him a home. no one would take him. i offered to buy food and still pay for his shots we just needed a place for him to stay till we found a house. but people kept saying no. we still have him at the old house running around because if we are scared we will get kicked out if we sneak him inside the apartment. his hard to sneak in. his there all by himself. we went to refill his water. leave him food all day today. but we ran out of time. we have to call the pound to pick him up because no one wants to take him. i am falling apart. i have tried everything to foster homes to doggy hotels to bugging people and friends and also craigslist but no one will take him. i am falling apart. i can't do it to myself to have animal control pick him up i just can't. but i have to. someone has to. idk what else to do anymore. i did everything i could and i let my boy down. we want to keep him. we love him more then life but no one will take him for us. i don't know what else to do. i am pregnant right now and all i am doing isbeating myself up crying over my dog. i let him down as an owner. i tried everything i could. i hate myself so bad. no one knows how hard this is for me and no one cares. i want my dog i have the money for his food and vet stuff i just need a home till we find his house. this is the hardest thing i ever had to do.

Try contacting the Animal Compassion Team in Fresno.  Their phone number is 559-299-6364.  You can also go to www.petfinder.com, put in your zip code, and it will list not only thousands of dogs in your area who are looking for homes, but it will give you links to any of the rescues in your area who may be able to help you out with temporary fostering for your boy until you can find a house to live in.  Just look through all of the many pages of adoptable dogs in your area and each dog will have a link to the rescue he's at.  You might have to look through a lot of pages because yours seems to be a pretty large area with regard to rescues, but that's good because it will give you more possibilities.  You might not have as hard a time as you might think since you are willing to pay for his upkeep while he is there.  I hope you are able to find someone to help you out.  I can't imagine how it would be to be in your shoes.  You are in my thoughts.

Where do you live?  You don't have to tell me exactly, in fact I would prefer you didn't post that on a public board.  But if you will give me your general area I will see what I can find with regard to places that might have a foster home KNOWING that it is only until you find a house to live in, and especially since you are offering to pay for his food and basic upkeep until you take him back.
