Yep- she's been there 5 times total.... 3 for vomiting and diarrhea after her shots and worming the first week we had her. She got very dehydrated and yucky. The others were for blood on her eye- we thought the cat got her when he smacked her the night before. It ended up being just her bumping into something. We played fetch the night before and she slid into the wall several times- hardwood floors. AND she's a klutz. :) The most recent was most likely getting one of my fathers pills. He has Parkinsons Disease so he shakes and occasionally drops one. He must have not noticed or heard it. She now has to stay in her playpen during the day if we aren't right there with her. It's one of those connected baby gate things they make. She is in her crate at night. I feel bad with her "locked up" but I'll have to get over it. It's safer for her and my sanity (and wallet).
Can you keep a better eye on her? I know puppies are tough to watch, but remember to crate train when you aren't home and always go outside in a fenced in yard or on a leash until she's a little older. Thinking you got her at 8 weeks, that's only 6 weeks for her to be at the emergency vet 3 times?!
