HELP!!!!

I am not sure what is wrong with my dog.  Dog is a beagle, about 11 years old, female.  Saturday she was fine. I think it was late Sat. night or early Sunday she started to vomit and have diarreaha.  Wouldn't eat.  Monday the same - more vomit (but just water and bile).  tuesday the same. Hasnt eaten since Saturday afternoon.  I think she ate something bad outside (we have a lot of stray dogs and cats in the area  - may have eaten feces.  She also may have eaten something inside - people food.  Not sure what may have fallen on the floor.  Not chocolate. No chocolate in the house. I'm positive she did not get into poision or soap or cleaner.

she has always had a bit of a belly on her, but i can tell she is losing a little weight now (shoulder area, haunches).  Her belly still looks the same.

Last night she was looking a bit more alert and responsive. still wont eat. but will drink water.  this morning, she urinated. No bowel movement, no diarhhea.  lethargic.  i'm worried.  What might be wrong with her?  Do you think it is ok to monitor her for another day and maybe take her to the vet on Friday?

What will the vet do? Tests? Do you think they would keep her there?

If there is a vet out there, please email me today at ***@****

I would take your dog to the vet asap. Dogs get dehydrated so fast, especially puppies and older dogs. They will probably put her on an IV then run some tests. She sounds like she is not doing well. Anytime your dog vomits, has the 3's and won't eat or drink you need to take her in asap. She could have some blockage (like she ate something and it is stuck in her gut) It's not something to take lightly, especially that it;s been happening for a couple of days now. Good luck and I hope she does well.
