well i was stupid, i posted about buying a chihuaha from a breeder that did not have his first shots
it tool me almost 3 hours to get to her house, when i got out of my car a cute little wineer dog came up to my car, i told the lady, "awe what a cute lil weenie", and she said "oh thats the daddy"  i was too shocked to reply to that
then i saw the mom who was a chihuahua, and the dad was a part weenie and part chihuahua, i did make a comment that the puppy was might long for a chihuahua, she said "i told you the dog did not have papers" i kept my mouth shut but i should have said "yeah but you never said it was a mutt" she also had jack russel puppies, so maybe it has some terrier too. Bottom line i paid $200 for a chi-weenie but she is so cute, i took her to a shot clinic the next day, for the first 2 days she was very afraid, but now she is all over the place, and keeping us all up at night, i have only had the one dog and that breeder let me know upfront that my dog was the runt but i bought him anyway, i am not sure i regret buying this puppy i just feel bad because i was lied too, everyone keeps saying that i did not have to buy her, but it was for my sons bday we drove all that way and as it turns out this pup is really awesome, just a long for a chihuahua

she is now 10wks old, she had a blast today, my husband is reading a story to my youngest and the puppy is right beside them

How old is she? You know, when I first came home with our puppies I got no sleep for the first month. I thought I'd lose it! I was blocking them off in our master bathroom with a bed and a potty pad. They finally started sleeping through the night but my thing is they're still not completely potty trained and they're 6 months old! They're close, but they still have occasional accidents. I want them to be able to run more freely around the house but am afraid to do that too much till I know they won't have any more accidents.
Just be patient. Puppies are a lot of work!

i have so many photos i need to upload to my laptop, i have promised to send my mom pics of my new puppy and my sons bday party this weekend so i will post a few here
she is really cool, but keeping me up all night, i wanted her to sleep with my son but he passes her to me and i tried to put her in the kennel in my room but she cries all night, so last night i gave in and put her in the bed, my jack russel has been sleeping with me for 11yrs if my husband found out we had our chi-weenier in the bed too he would go crazy.....she is so tiny, easy to smuggle

I'd be upset too! But I'm so glad you got the puppy anyway. She sounds like an awesome dog! I'd love to see a photo of her. I'm not sure I've ever seen a chi-weenie before! She sounds adorable. :)
On the bright side, I've heard over and over, even from vets, that mixed breeds are heartier than pure breeds and generally have less health problems.
