Hello All:
I hope someone can give me some answers. I have a Siberian Husky that is 7 years old. About 3 weeks ago she started a very strange howl for about 3 days. Then all off a sudden she was very listless and would not eat, when she did get up she paced around the house and seem to not know where she was or who we were and walked like she was drunk, loosing control of her hind legs.. I took her to the vet he did a blood test the test showed all normal except for Pancreatitis.
I nursed her with yogurt, gave her Antibiotic. She now eats has her personality back but she can hardly stay on all fours. Her back legs seam to give out on her and her rear legs are like she is drunk. She walks for a while and down she goes. While she is walking she is also trying to scratch herself and down she goes again. No matter where you touch her from below the neck she starts scratching herself. She is constantly scratching her self and her hind legs keep moving like she is trying to scratch herself. She does not have flees and always scratching of bitting herself.
Has anyone ever heard of this and have any suggestions? It is so sad to see her with her personality back and keep dropping.
Please help if you can.
