You should have received two sets of numbers. The first being based purely on your age and then the second being based with your age & the measurement of the nuchal fold combined. The 2nd set of numbers is the one you should take most notice of. With a measurement of 2.1 I'd have thought it would be a lot higher than 1:13. Well that is how things are done in the uk, things coud differ elsewhere. Good Luck with the amnio!
I believe she is correct about that. I had a set of numbers based on my age and then with the test combined. My numbers went up once the blood test and NT was done (combined). Do you remember getting 2 sets of numbers. The Trisomy 13/18 was the same way and those numbers really really went up. But either way, everything is going to be just fine.
I did get 2 sets. The first said risk was 1:73. The adjusted risk is 1:13. There were no soft physical markers, the adjustment was based on the results of the blood tests. There was a high ratio between the free beta and the papp a (I think that's what it was called). The nasal bone was present and nucheal fold was only 2.1. My adjusted risk for trisonomy 13 and 18 were around 1:4000.
Like you said before this is only a screening. Everything is going to be fine. I pray for you all the time and I just know the Lord is going to make things perfect for you and Warren. Keep going strong girl!
