I went to several concerts in a row, all of which I cheered at and two of which I screamed along with. My voice was pretty much gone after the fourth show, though it had come back by the next morning. That afternoon, though, I felt like I was coming down with something; my throat had that raw feeling it always gets prior to a cold. I haven't really felt sick yet, but my throat's been sore ever since, and I've had a chest-cough that is productive. My voice is also raspy and not very useful (I'm a singer, so this worries me). The doc thought it might be bronchitis (my lungs sounded iffy) and gave me antibiotics, but I'm not convinced, as I don't really feel *unwell.* Anyone have any ideas?
I do have seasonal allergies, but they've rarely been this bad. My cat occasionally gives me a sore throat at night.
