Is this Vertigo?

Do you know the feeling you get onece you've come off the escalator, as if the floor is still moving?  Well, that's how I feel most of the time when I'm walking, I feel it more when I first begin to walk, when I get out of bed in the morning, and when I'm tired at the end of the day...is this veritgo or can it be something else?   I also feel a pressure in my ears when I first get into bed.

I've had colds on and off.  Today I have one.  I do feel sick most of the times.  It can affect my vision, I see a bit blurry or white lights.

Hi Liz,
I have been feeling constantly like ive just come off an escalator for nearly a year now, I have only just got a diagnosis after seeing a couple of docs and some neuros....I have a problem with my inner ear - vastibular disorder which probably stemmed from having a flu/cold like episode....have you had a cold/flu recently?
Do you feel sick with this feeling?
Are your eyes/vision affected?
