I don't want to eat, why?

For the past week I have only eaten once a day and when I do eat I can only stand to consume five to six bites of food.  I have haven't really felt like my body is gradually getting hungry, but going straight to the hunger stage where I am so hungry I feel sick.  When I do sit down to try and eat I can only take about five to six bites before my body doesn't want anymore, I feel like I am going to throw- up but I am still really hungry.  I have lost some weight already from this and am scared that I will lose more.  I'm just trying to figure out what could be wrong.  Is it an eating disorder or something else?  Thank you.

I have and ED in remission. I'm going through some medical issues, that are causing exactly what you are stating. I haven't had an appetite for over a month, then a couple of weeks ago I would eat, then I get sick, I'm having a hard time keeping food down. Try liquids for a couple of days, broth, smoothies, popsicles, anything.
See your doctor immediately!
