There is no doctor on this board, John, only people who might have gone through similar things. It does sound like you eat for your emotions and  because you aren't happy with your life. You might want to see what you can do to make your life better: Find ways to try out new interests and meet new people, classes, new job, whatever. If you feel like you can't deal with your feelings or learn to channel them in other ways than over-eating you might benefit from counseling. That would be my recommendation, because sometimes we have to learn how to deal with feelings, it isn't something they teach us in school!

I have try all that - nothing is so easy to get it done. Many years i have been searching for new job but i can't find one and it's too stressful. Going to school, etc don't have enough money and no one willing to help me - *** hole. I have seen counseling and they told me that i have to help myself and no one is going to help me. This makes me more stressful then back snack eating. I can't give up. No where i can get peace or freedom or ob or happines of relist stress and this is the only way i know. Rich people can do whatever they want to. I am helpless and useless who want to help me.
