You won't get in trouble with your doctor; that is what she is there for. She can't help you if you aren't honest with her. Good for you for deciding to tell her the truth at your next appointment. That is the first step to recovery.

Good for you for wanting help and to stop the bulimia, not just for your ex, but for YOU. I would suggest you get some help because it's very difficult to do it yourself. Talk to your doctor, get referred to a therapist with experience with eating disorders and/or go to OA, Overeater's Anonymous which has free meetings for people with all kinds of food and body related issues. Best of luck to you!
