Common? Please help!

Can Endometriosis grow on both round ligaments (and mostly cause pain on the right side)? Is it common for the Endometriosis to cause twitching/spasms  in the areas affected?

The last ultrasound I got was four months ago, when j first started experiencing pelvic pain, and they found nothing. However, they just assumed that the cyst had just ruptured. This past month, I went to the GYN, and they did no testing, but still diagnosed me with Ovarian Cysts anyways. However, in the past two months, and especially during my period, the pain has gotten gradually worse, and seems to spread to more areas. I thought I had a yeast infection or a UTI, but that came out negative. We just don't know what's wrong and it's very hard.

Okay that is what I thought and yes it can cause the pain and weird feelings that you are having. Sometimes the BCP itself can help people like it did me. It regulated my hormones and stopped my migraines while for others it did the complete opposite. Everyone responds differently and everyone can have different reactions to different meds. If it isn't working you change and try something different. The cysts that you have had prior were they endometriomas? (chocolate cysts?) did you get your records to see what it said on it? This is important because a lot of doctors miss key things on ultrasound reports which would be so important to an Endo specialist. Your mother is right and that is the direction you should be going in if Endo is suspected. Let me know where abouts you live and I can help you find someone that can help you.

The old blood sounds like it could be from an Endometrioma. When was your last ultrasound?

Yes, I mean Utereral Sacral ligaments, and also inguinal canal pain. I've had multiple ovarian cysts in the past, so you think that this could be what's causing the twitching? I have not been surgically diagnosed, but my Mom wants me to visit an Endo specialist.  The pain is mostly on my right side (although it can alternate to my left side sometimes) and I often take pain killers for it. I'm currently on birth control, and I've been having some weird symptoms from that as well, so it's hard for me to distinguish between the two. Do you know if Endo can make birth control cause more symptoms? And do you know if chocolate cysts cause spotting when they rupture or when they form?

When you mean round ligaments do you mean Utereral Sacral ligaments?

Endometriosis can cause pain just about anywhere. Some people feel it localize one side or the other and some all over. Everyone's case is different.

Twitching and spasms can happen. Could be from scar tissue or your ovary etc.

Have you been surgically diagnosed?
