Endometriosis Help

Hey everyone, I'm looking for advice. Growing up I had horrible periods where I would have no regular schedule, intense bleeding and the most sever pain I have ever felt. After trying out countless BC pills and a laprascopy, I was diagnosed with POS and Endometriosis. The pain was nonstop  and with only being told to take Ibuprofen or Tylenol I could not take it. I was put on the Depo shot around age 17. The only side effect I have seen is weight gain (and a ton of it). I am now 25 and want to try something new. I think I have been on Depo for too long and could be causing harm to my bones. My new OGYN had me try to get off of Depo and try BC pills again. After one month I was back to heavy bleeding and the same intense pain, she also would not help the pain and after a month gave up and put me back on depo. Depo stops the periods and this stops the pain, but there has to be another option out there.

Depo is a horrible drug which did not stop my endo. I have stage 4, and was essentially of no use. I have had 4 laparoscopy surgeries and robotic surgery. I now have an IUD. I do still experience some pain, but it is in no way comparable to what I experienced with depo or birth control. I felt like birth control was in no way effective.

I think it is very important to find a good Endo specialist. If Endo was not removed properly to begin with it is possible it was left behind. also PCOS is a difficult one to treat on its own but throw endo in the mix it just makes it more difficult. I can help you find and endo specailist that can help you
