Endometriosis with a side of ovarian cyst? I need help!

Hello Everyone!  I am writing on this forum because I honestly don't know where to turn for help at this point, and I'm fearing the worst.

This past July I woke up one night with an incredibly sharp pain in my lower right pelvic area. I thought it was just Bc I needed to urinate. The pain never subsided. For weeks I had this dull ache. I eventually went to the ER for fear it might be appendicitis. They did blood work, a CT Scan, pelvic exam and found NOTHING. A couple of weeks later, the pain went away.

For months to follow I had my usual extremely heavy periods, gut wrenching cramps for the first day then smooth sailing for the remaining 5 or 6 days of period.

In October, the pain in my lower right pelvic region returned. It hasn't gone away since. It is constant day in and day out. Last month before my period I awoke to sharp shooting pains through my pelvis and rectum. They were debilitating. I am scheduled to see my gyno next Tuesday for yet another appointment that I feel I will gain no answers from.

Does this sound like cysts? Or endo? I need any advice I can get at this point and it is MUCH appreciated.

Thank you so much for responding to my post!

I am 31 years old. My first period was at the age of 14.

I was on birth control pill all through college and have been off and on it since 2007. I tried the nuvaring then went back on the pill. I've always been very sensitive to pills, they either make me sick or make me overly emotional. The last I took a pill was over a year ago. I came off it after I noticed discharge from my nipples and a late period. I had a pregnancy test done and it was negative.

I had blood work done in the last few months and it listed my urine as cloudy, but they never mentioned anuthing about it.

As long as I can remember I have always had heavy periods, but they seem to have gotten worse over the last few years.

Thank you SO much for replying! I am hoping to talk with and get advice from anyone and everyone!

So from what you have wrote it sounds to me that because you were on some sort of contraceptive for a long period of time that the pain of possible endo has been masked because of it. This is why most women with Endometriosis are not diagnosed sooner. So for me that is a red flag indicator especially with the heavy flow which could also be adenomyosis. which go hand in had with endo as well.

Have you actually had an ultrasound to look at the size of your uterus? To see if it is enlarged?

I would also get the results from your blood results too.

There are time when I have gone into the ER or have done test and the results were not what they were expecting but there was evidence of endo and they just tell you that your reports are fine. Fine for that doctor but could be huge evidence of something else.

Please always get a copy of your records from this point on. because you will need them from time to time as well when you see knew doctors.

it is quite possible it is but let me ask you some questions.

How old are you?

When was your first period?

Have you ever been on the birth control pill for a long period of time and now are off it?

Did they say anything about your urine having a lot of pus or higher than normal white cell count?

Have your periods always been heavy?
