Laparoscopy due to Endometriosis

So I have struggling with Endometriosis for a few years now.  And in 2014 was put on Visanne for 6 months, then in 2015 I was put on Lupron injections for 6 months...My pain came back, so I finally had a laparoscopic surgery last week Wednesday Feb. 3rd.  Now that was my due time for my period (I did spot a little bit after the surgery) and my breasts were sore prior to that naturally. So after my surgery I was still feeling sore and still no period so I decided to take a pregnancy test this weekend and it came back positive.  I was confused so over the course of the weekend I have taken a few more and they are all positive.  Now my questions are 1- Did the doctor not see this when he did the surgery 2- did they  not see it in the blood work the week prior 3- could my body just be confused because of the surgery?  If I am pregnant that is wonderful, as we have been trying for 2.5 yrs now....Does anyone have any idea if this would be a false positive? Thank you.

Thanks for responding :)  I actually had sex a few times in January and didnt think anything of it.  Had my surgery last week Feb. 3rd when my period was due and I was just spotting afterwards....But from all the tests that I have taken I honestly dont think 7 pregnancy tests would all be false positives could they???
I do have an appointment with the dr. on Feb. 23rd to check things out.
A week prior to the surgery I did give blood and urine samples so you would think they would notice I was pregnant.  I dunno, this is so weird to me that they never noticed.

It sounds like you are pregnant if you did that many but I always tell people to wait to get 100% confirmation from a blood test.

Good Luck

Did you have sex after your surgery?

I am thinking at your pre-op you would have had to have blood taken or the day of surgery.

I know you can be really fertile after surgery that is why I am asking if you had sex after.

This is a good question and I will ask around.

I would go to the doctor and get a blood test to confirm the pregnancy test for now.

I will get back to you
