Hi Ginger thanks you so much for your response. I had endomitriosis on the peritoneum at both sides and some adhesions close to that area. I spoke with my doctor he can't really say when I will be free from pain , he said that I have to be patient . I still have my period it;s the eleventh day .
He has also given some medicine that I have to take them from 3 months , it's progesterone hormone .
I hope evrything goes well and I'll be free from pain . I will see my doctor next Monday .

Your period after your surgery will probablybe worse. As far as full recovery it actually depends on how much was endometriosis was removed and where it was in your abdomen and if they did other procedures like an ovarian cysts tony or lysis of adhesions. I would think about a 3-4 weeks post surgery you should notice significant improvement. Your dr would have the best idea of the length of your recovery since he/she did the surgery.
Best of luck to you
