Long and heavy period for years!

Dear doctors, I'm having a long and heavy period since I was 15. I have been to many doctors, they said it was hormonal issue but the medicine they gave never really work. As soon as I stop the medication, the problem come back. I had almost 10 times of transfusion during the time, my latest hB rate was 3.8. On 2010, one doctor diagnosed me that I'm having fibroid, yet he didn't give me any medication and just ask me to lose weight. Another doctor told me that I'm having fibroid. But I also went to another doctor to find opinion, she said that I'm having endometrial hyperplasia.. By her, I was given norethisterone, but it didn't work. Now she's giving me estradiol valerate. Do you think it's going to stop my bleeding? Or what is actually going on with me and what kind of treatment I should take?Thank you in advance.

I would post this in the Women's health forum or Gynecological forum.

This forum is just for Endometriosis.

If you do have a fibroid losing weight will not be the answer and is most likely the cause of your heavy bleeding. I would look to get another opinion from an OBGYN regarding the fibroid. Bring all your records of tests that you have done so you do not have to repeat them.
