I've had frequent urination problem, my lower abdomen gives me pain when I cough or even when I'm just sitting! A few days ago I had terrible back pain ! This morning I took a pregnancy test but it showed negative! I'm not sure what is going on!! Please help!
Yeah, i went to an urologist and he did a cystoscopy on me and found nothing in my bladder. He said my bladder looked normal.
you might have your doctor test you for interstital cystitis of the bladder I think thats the name its causes alot of the symptoms you are describing the med for it is elmiron and a special diet
Hi. You mentioned in your earlier post that you also cannot hold urine for too long or else your bladder feels sore.
Did you have any lesions growing on or around your bladder when they did your surgery?
Was your abdomen also puffy and bloated?
It's weird because I thought the endometrioma was the cause of my bladder and bloating problems. But after I got it removed, I still have bladder problems, it never went away. So I have no idea what is causing it now.
AF = your period...Aunt Flow
Iyou might want to get a ck up soon....you can ask for lab work, CA125 is often used to monitor endo levels. Adhesions start growing as soon as they close you up...so it could be. you can also ask for an U/S (ultrasound) to ck how is everything inside.
Hope you feel better soon!
What is AF pressure? Sorry, I'm not too familiar with these terms.
I do feel bloating/pressure all around my abdomen and especially behind the area where i got surgery.
I used to think it is because of the surgery, but it's been almost 6 months, and now I'm thinking it is because of my endo.
I don't know if any of you feel your soreness around your pelvic muscles. But I feel that constantly, not only when I have my period.
As for my bladder, I went to see an urologist about 2 months ago and he performed a cystoscopy and said everything is fine with my bladder internally. During the surgery, the doctor did remove some very small powder like adhesions on my bladder flap. So I don't know if the bladder problem could be because those small adhesions grew back?
Hi. you have describe most of what I feel.
I can't hold to long to go the bathroom, and when I hold to long it really gets sore.
Also, the af type of pressure, I too feel that.
I also have other symtpoms, but I guess everyone feels them different.
I do have endo and had two lap and lupron treatment for 6 months, now the pain is way better, but the urine thing and the Af type pressure is still there, but less, I guess although the endo was removed, you still have the scares and maybe that is why I am still feeling it, I always thought it was due to endo and never did I think it was something else, although it would get worse when I had cysts, especially with the lower back pain.
I think the journal idea is a good one. Good luck!
Hi,
The reason why endometriosis can only be diagnosed during surgery is that it's symptoms are similar to those of other issues. Did your doctor remove any cysts during your surgery? It sounds like you have a cyst that is getting big and putting pressure on your bladder, that was my pain but not only did I have endo, I also had a huge cyst that was pushing on alot of thing and attaching to the pelvic wall. Endo pain can be in the back, lower abdomen, everywhere. My doctor told me that in other people they find it in lungs. Start a journal of the pain and talk to your doctor about every symptom, when it comes and how long it lasts. Good luck!!
hi there, i am not sure about the bladder issue but i thought i would share what my endo pain is like and see if you have any of that? before my surgery i had pinching or sharp pulling pains when i would sneeze or cough, like it was right on my ovary! i swear i could put my finger right on it, i also had consitpation from the endometria being on my colon, i also had some on my appendix which caused it to rupture and it was just a dull ache until the surgery. i didn't have frequent urination though or bladder pressure, that might be something else. i hope it's not more ENDO hon, take care!
