Endo....what else could it be??

I have been looking for any clues I could find online but only few are close to what Im going through.  I have had two c-sections first one with twins it was an emergency (with no side effects aside from toxemia fever) the second was a planned c-section.  After I had her I had severe cramping on my right side but thought it was only my body contracting.  Well, its been almost 5 years and I have had severe pain on my right side during sex and lasting a couple of days after that.  I have read all the signs for endo and the only ones I have are the pain, anxiety (diagnosed), fatigue, and lower back pain. When I went to the E.R. the doctor said my cervix was red and I wasnt close to starting my period.  The other thing the doctor said was PIV, the only reason I vote that out is because I have been tested before, during, and after my last child and I have had no STD's. What else could it be? Does this pin point to anything. I have an appt in two weeks but I wanted some clues to point out to my doctor about what it could be.

What do you think? If it is does the fact that it has been 5 years mean it is dangerous or worse?  Thank you in advance :)

Yes sounds like it. I have it on one side more than the other. It seems to get worse pms week. Gurantee if you get really bad hot flashes, then good chance. If you have the money for the surgery I hear you get great relief, but I just don't have the money!

I had children very young to young to develope endo at that point. I was 16. I have been checked for cervical cancer and it was a neg. so I have ruled out a lot of things like piv and cancer I dont know what else it could be. Now that Im an adult maybe the chances are higher I dont know but nothing else comes close to sounding right. I go in a little over a week so I will keep you guys posted I hope its simple and that its nothing. We'll see.

If you have endo you should be very happy that you had children.  Was it hard for you to conceive in the first place?  How was your period before you had the babies, were you alway in pain? Or did this just start after the births?  Im really not sure if its endo, It most definitely could be...the only way to really diagnose it is to have a laporoscopy.

Maybe it could be scar tissue from your c-sections.  Or i googled this link

http://www.drugs.com/enc/cervical-erosion.html

Cervical erosion.  A sign is a red cervix. Make sure when you go to your doctors you ask for a CA-125 test to rule out cervical cancer. Not saying that is it but if you have cervical erosion you could get cervical cancer.
