I had laparoscopy about 6 years ago. Got on medication that put my body thru menapause. It was horrible. Then got on different BC shot my hormones all over the place. They gave me pain medication as well. So now in my 1 I experienced surgery, menapause, what seemed like a personality disorder from all the hormones and depression from pain medication.

Best advice, start acupuncture and work with one that also give herbs. Its natural, and helped with the pain with time, my hormones finally became stable. Its not overnight immediate relieve, but it calms your body, nerves and within a month i felt so much better. I did it for about 6 months. Twice a week for the 1st month, and then once a week. It is expensive, but I am better off now.  Now I am on NuvaRing and its the best one yet. Yasmin was good as well, but NuvaRing helps. Also excercise, your periods will be only 2-3 days long.

It is possible to have a baby, don't worry! Talk to your doctor about Yasmin - this medication can help, but it depends of your condition. Have you talked to your doctor about some kind of treatments? I had laparoscopy done three years ago, but my situation with endometriosis was serious, and after that I started taking Yasmin (i did't felt any side effects that were serious). After the lap, I lost my right ovary, but I am still able to have a baby. So, don't worry about that. Maybe it will be a little bit harder to conceive, but that's it. I know many women that had these kind of problems and had children. I am on Zoladex treatment now (I have one more injection left), but these injections make you go into the condition of early menopause, and the side effects are awful! After finishing this treatment I will see what will the doctors say, but I think that I will start to think about conceiving, because that is my choice for now. Good luck with everything!
