I have been on the pill continuosly for well over a year and it has done wonders for the pain.  I still do get pain but not at all like i used to get. If you take it continuosly than you will only get your period like 3-4 times a year which is much better when you actually have the breakthrough bleeding. Some people work differently with different medications. This worked for my hormones in a big way, i had such an imbalance after I had my daughter I thought i was going coo coo!!  It wont hurt to try. I take the marvelon21 and really i do like it.  Just understand that the endo will always still be there and taking the pill will never make it go away. Eating more healthy with Grains and raw foods, excersize and try to live your life without stressing to much. It helps in a big way. Right now I am on the pill and have been since my surgery last june. I am starting to feel the pain back. I have stage IV endo and it was all over and I know its back. You have to accept that it will come back and not go away. best thing to do is learn to deal with it and live with it. It ***** in a big way.

Yes, I was diagnosed a few years ago. Went thru surgery, countless different birth controls, pain killers. The surgery did help, then I had an injection that stopped my period. But my body thru menapause pretty much for 6 months. But the pain came back, and I realized at 21 my body does not need to go thru menapause. The different BC just shot my hormones all over the place.

The best advice, I did acupuncture for about 6 months and was not on BC at the time. It was very helpful. Now, I manage it thru exercise, period only last 2-3 days and I am on the BC the ring. I hated being on pain killers, bc I needed to fix the problem, and not medicate it. You can get thru it and need to find a dr who does not just want to medicate the problem, but actually help heal it.
