laparoscopic surgery and d7c making me nervous

Hi everyone. I am new here. I am a 38 year old mother of one child. i am having a D&C with laparoscopy to remove an ovarian mass this Monday. I have been very nervous for the past few days, so much so that I haven't been able to go to work this weekend. To sum it all up...i had a vag ultrasound done and it presented with what I was told an ovarian fibroma. But when I saw my Gynecologist, he told me he thinks it may be an endometrioma. therefore a laparoscopy has to be done to diagnose and remove this if needed. i am rwading the posts here and I am finding them very informative and helpful. has anyone experienced this? Also I am thinking about having another child and this is on my mind. Thanks so much...Sherry.

about a year ago i had a d&c done to remove left over tissue from birth. it wasnt that bad.but your procedure is different. i know the pain wasnt bad with what i had done. it was more of a small ache and mild bleeding.my doc also told me i have endo, but has never confirmed it by going through any type of procedure. im hoping to be preg now but now sure.im seeing a new doc for first time tomorrow and hopefully will get some where this time. good luck, hope everything goes good
