preggo?

Hey ladies!! Ok, yesterday i went to the doctors because i am 12 days late on my period. I have taken HPT's, they  were negative. The doctor gave me a vaginal ultrasound...she said it could be to early for a hpt to pick up. Anyway when she was performing the ultrasound she said that my "endometrial", line shows that im not going to get my period. When i asked her..."you see this all the time what do you think", she said yes i think you are pregnant. She sent me for blood work and i got this morning. I wonder what she saw on the ultrasound that made her think this. Its driving me crazy cause i know a doctor wouldnt say " i think you are", if she wasent VERY sure knowing that my husband and i have been trying. I just pray i dont have false hope! has anyone heard of this before?...i have been looking the endometrial line up online and cant find anything that says  that a doctor can tell if your pregant by that because mine is thin not thick! Please help!!!

Hi there,

I don't want to crush your hopes because I sincerely hope that you are!!! I recently went to the doctor to have a check up because of past health problems and new meds. When I asked him if I could try to have a baby, he told me it would be "impossible" because my lining is too thin.

All women are different, so are all doctors. Just wait for your test results before jumping to any conclusions.

Best of luck!!!
