2 years ago I was diagnosed at first with ovarian cancer. I had a mass that was 13cm and my CA-125 was 400. I was referred to an oncologist and then had to have a hysterectomy-basically the oncologist had informed me to pre-surgury was that many things can trigger CA-125 levels for woman, meaning infection, illness, menstral cycle....well it turns out that I didn't have ovarian cancer-thank goodness-however I did have stage 4 endometrosis.....the oncologist said it was the worst case she has ever seen.......so try not to worry, I was 30 yrs old at the time.
My CA-125 was 79 and my endo was pretty bad! I don't know what stage my endo was though, my doctor never told me. I had to have a laparatomy because they were worried one of my cysts was cancerous, but it wasn't. Good luck to you, I hope you don't have it!
