EBV and lymphoma

Five years ago I had a lymph node appear on my neck that has never gone away.  In 2007, I had blood work done, complaining of fatigue.  My EBV Ab VCA, IgG cam back at 2166 and my EBV Nuclear Antigen came back at 850.  Anything over 120 was considered positive!!!  Since this time frame I have continued to feel worse.  I have night sweats (they come and go for extended periods of time), poor sleep, constantly fatigued and I am recently experiencing pain in my joints.  My body feels tense and tight but I also feel like I could collapse from the weight of my body at any moment, like a wet noodle (it is worth noting that I am a female that weighs 110 pounds).  I have blood work scheduled, but feel doctors have dismissed or diagnosed my symptoms as depression in the past.  I am now concerned, due to my progressive aches and pains and fatigue, that this could be non-Hodgkins lymphoma.  Has anyone had a lymph node swollen this long and what was the outcome/ results?  If not lymphoma, what was it?  If lymphoma, is there hope that this can be fixed and I can once again return to a energetic, fulfilling life?  Any feedback is appreciated, I am at a loss!!!

I am 23 and had mono when I was 15. This week my doctor looked over my CBC test and said my blood work looks normal except that I have mono...AGAIN! What in the heck...I thought it couldn't come back? Is my immune system THAT bad? I am so confused. I am also worried it is something more serious like lymphoma cancer because I keep reading lymphoma creates false positive mono tests. Although I have no other symptoms except a tight feeling throat that feels as though I must constantly swallow. I sometimes have nausea but it doesnt last long and I still eat like crazy. I wish I never read that info though. I have anxiety about my health as it is. DOES ANY ONE KNOW IF THIS IS TRUE? COULD LYMPHOMA CREATE FALSE POSITIVE MONO BLOOD TESTS? WHAT SHOULD I DO, GET ANOTHER BLOOD TEST OR A CT SCAN TO RULE OUT SOMETHING MORE SINISTER?  I am so extremely scared, I just want to check myself into a hospital right now to get it all figured out but I have no time, so I continue to wake up thinking about this. ANy info is greatly appreciated.

I literally feel your pain! I never had thyroid nodules - at least none that were visible or palpable - until I got sick in 1/09. Family history of thyroid cancer prompted needle biopsies which were negative. Nodules getting larger and it's been 13 months since getting sick the last time.  I was VERY sick in 1/09 and hospitalized. Bloodwork showed convalescent stage of EBV but all other tests came back negative for everything. I've had a variety of other problems since last January which have improved but am confident that with each reoccurence of getting sick being worse than the last and lasting longer, whatever I have is going to kill me in the next few years. In all of this, no one has suggested non-Hodgkins lymphoma. I also have extreme fatigue (slept 22 hours/day and could not hold my arms up to bathe myself so my husband and daughter bathed me) and joint pain, especially my neck, wrists and ankles. I went from teaching aerobics for 23 years and a bp of 90/60 to now having fluctuating pressures that have gone as high as 189/119 and dropping to 90/62 with no heart disease.  Have you had any similar problems as well?
