Hearing loss with EBV?

Has anyone ever had hearing loss related to the active EBV?

I was tested back in Feb for EBV and it was high. Dr said I did NOT have Mono but that i was exposed in the past?? I dont get it. . . anyway I have had alot of problems with my hearing/ears. Whistling, buzzing, little pain, and even lost hearing for up to 2 hours in one ear at a time. 5-6 months later (Im having a hard time believing this is a "flare-up") but im still having the same issues with them.

wich steroid eye drop you take please? i have the same problem to you.

well the only reason i was diagnosed with EBV was because I had some vision loss in my left eye....I would assume since it would and could attack the eye, it could do the same for the ears, however I was placed on a steroid eye drop and the vision is returning...
