Lymph nodes remain after being diagnosed with MONO 2/09

The two lymph nodes that swelled when I was diagnosed with EBV this past february remain swollen. 9 months later they have no pain nor are tender. they have not disappeared and came back, just stayed there the whole time and a slightly smaller size but I know they are the same two because they have the same shape and placement. My doc says not to worry about this. I have also had HIV negative test results at 3, 6, and 8 months since they swelled. any help? thanks

Sometimes the lymph nodes never return to normal size.
Have you had a CBC done to rule out other infections?
I would not worry. :)
