Look up your height, age and gender calorie requirements. Calories are a unit of energy and you need them to properly function during the day (and live). Shortcuts do not work and can result in gaining more weight after a "diet". 500 calories a day is unrealistic and unhealthy, a large banana has 121 calories and is the type sold in most grocery stores.
If you want to lose weight permanently it involves a lifestyle change which isn't hard to do; eat healthy ( avoid packaged foods and try to eat organic-- healthy food tastes better) incorporate exercise into your day and drink lots of water.
Be patient and healthy, you can do it! :)
Thanks so much that helped a lot :)
I'm doing my studies On health and fitness in order to lose 1 pound per week you have to lose or burn 3500 calories which means you have to consume 500 less calories a day.
