Tonic pupil syndrome following Restor Implants

I had Restor implants in both eyes and considering the extreme nearsightedness and astigmatism I'm pretty pleased w/the vision correction. Finished the procedure and followup Lasik 7/14.
HOWEVER, I developed tonic pupil syndrome (fixed dilated pupil) in my left eye. Pilocarpine drops didn't work, so it appears I'm stuck with it, short of radical "sewing" of the iris. I'll be getting a contact lens for cosmetic purposes, as my light blue eyes make it very apparent the pupil is dilated. Has anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions?

Are you aware of any procedures for correcting tonic pupil?  I read that 1-2% of cataract patients develop it, so it seems that more attention would be given to correcting the condition rather than just expecting patients to live with it.
